Several Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) hopefuls trained by Todd Pletcher worked at Palm Meadows Training Center the morning of March 10.

WinStar Farm's Revolutionary covered five furlongs in 1:01.48, the sixth fastest of 26 horses at that distance. Revolutionary worked in company with another 3-year-old, Capo Bastone, who was given an identical time.

The son of War PassRunup the Colors, by A.P. Indy most recently won the Feb. 2 Withers Stakes (gr. III) at Aqueduct Racetrack. In all, he holds a record of 2-1-2 from five starts, for earnings of $188,500. He is expected to run in the Louisiana Derby (gr. II) March 30 at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots.

Revolutionary, who was bred in Kentucky by William S. Farish, was a $235,000 purchase at the 2012 Ocala Breeders' Sale Co.'s select sale of 2-year-olds in training.

Capo Bastone, a Street Boss   colt owned by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners, could be headed to the Rebel Stakes (gr. II) at Oaklawn Park March 16, along with the Pletcher-trained Delhomme, who also worked Sunday at Palm Meadows.

WinStar Farm and Twin Creeks Racing Stables' son of Dixie Union would be making his first start since finishing third in the Remsen Stakes (gr. II) Nov. 24. Delmhomme breezed five furlongs in company in a time of 1:00.88. It was third fastest at the distance.

Also at Palm Meadows, last year's champion 2-year-old male Shanghai Bobby   worked five furlongs in a leisurely 1:02.90. The son of Harlan's HolidaySteelin', by Orientate finished runner up to Itsmyluckyday in his most recent start in the Jan. 26 Holy Bull (gr. III) at Gulfstream Park. The two are pointed toward a rematch in the March 30 Florida Derby (gr. I).

Owned by Starlight Racing, Susan Magnier, Michael Tabor, and Derrick Smith, Shanghai Bobby scored his big victories in last year's Grey Goose Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I), Foxwoods Champagne Stakes (gr. I), and Three Chimneys Hopeful (gr. II). He has earned $1,767,000.

Shanghai Bobby, bred by Stonehaven Standings, brought $105,000 at the 2011 Keeneland September yearling sale.

Also on the worktab was Dogwood Stables' Palace Malice, who covered four furlongs at the Florida track in :49 2/5.

During his most recent start and his first trip around two turns, the son of Curlin  Palace Rumor, by Royal Anthem finished third in the Feb. 23 Risen Star (gr. III) at Fair Grounds. Bred by Farish, he has carved out a career record of 1-2-1 from four starts, for earnings of $111,135.

Palace Malice, also pointing for the Louisiana Derby, was a $200,000 buy at the 2012 Keeneland April 2-year-old in training sale.
