The New York Racing Association, Inc. has canceled live racing at Aqueduct Racetrack for March 8 due to inclement weather. Simulcasting will still be conducted at Aqueduct and Belmont Park.
According to Weather.com, 2.6 inches of snow fell in Elmont, N.Y. March 7 and the forecast for March 8 called for an additional one to three inches of snow, mixing with rain in the afternoon. The forecast high temperature March 8 is 38 degrees.
