True Sense, Heavenly Chorus to Ziprick

True Sense, a full brother to Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Street Sense  , and multiple stakes-placed Heavenly Chorus will stand at Cam and Sherisse Ziprick's Ziprick Thoroughbreds near Russell, Manitoba, Canada.

Four-year-old True Sense will stand for $1,500 (Canadian funds), and Heavenly Chorus' fee is $1,250 (Canadian funds).

True Sense, who suffered an injury that prevented him from racing, is by Street Cry out of the winning Dixieland Band mare Bedazzle, who also is the dam of stakes winner Elusive Sparkle. In addition to the Kentucky Derby, Street Sense, a champion 2-year-old male, scored major wins in the Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) and the Travers Stakes (gr. I).

Eight-year-old Heavenly Chorus, by Unbridled's Song  , ran third in the Journal Handicap and the George Royal Stakes and was retired with a record of 9-4-8 from 34 starts and earnings of $238,099. A $475,000 Keeneland November sale weanling, Heavenly Chorus is out of the Tabasco Cat mare Heavenly Cat and is a half brother to grade III winners Dilemma and Heavenly Ransom and multiple stakes winner Capitano.
