Gibson Thoroughbred Farm in Washington state has purchased War Power, a multiple winner by Pulpit out of a half sister to 2012 Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Union Rags  . Seven-year-old War Power will stand for $1,000 at Gibson Thoroughbred near Thorp. He previously stood at Move & Shake Ranch in Texas.

War Power was a three-time winner in France and was beaten 1 1/4 lengths while fifth in the Prix Ridgway. He was retired with a record of 3-1-0 from seven starts and earnings of $73,510.

Out of the winning Rahy mare Tempo, War Power is a half brother to Irish group winner Declaration of War  , French stakes winner Vertiformer  , and French stakes-placed War Pact.
