Treble Jig, a group III-winning son of Gone West, heads the list of 131 horses entered in the Emirates Racing Authority horses in training sale March 6 at Meydan Racecourse in the United Arab Emirates.

Bred in Kentucky by Juddmonte Farms, Treble Jig has won the Jebel Ali Stakes and Jabel Ali Mile (group III in 2013) for each of the past two years for owner Fathi Esead Mohd Egziama and trainer Musabah Al Muhairi. The 6-year-old horse, who has won eight of 21 starts including two this year, will be offered with a reserve price.

Also due to go through the sales ring are Burano, winner of the Meydan Classic in 2012 and runner-up in the Meydan Hotels Handicap last month for trainer Brian Meehan; four-time winner Garbah; eight-time UAE winner Rochdale; Burj Nahar runner-up Zafeen Speed; and Youm Mutamiez, another two-time winner in 2013.

"Treble Jig obviously catches the eye and there are also a number of other horses in the sale who have already won this season and you would think that there are quite a few that have the potential to perform well in the future," Gerard Bush, chief steward at ERA said in a statement.
