Graded stakes winner Bold Chieftain was represented by his first reported foal when a filly was born Feb. 2 at Sue Greene's Woodbridge Farm in Oakdale, Calif.

The filly, owned by Carol and Jerry Anderson, was produced from Mistical Dream, a winning daughter of Cat Dreams who is a half sister to grade I winner Mistical Plan.

"She is a very pretty bay filly," Greene said. "She is very correct."

Bold Chieftain, a 10-year-old son of Chief Seattle, stands at Ellen Jackson's Victory Rose Thoroughbreds in Vacaville, Calif., for a $3,000 fee for 2013.

During eight seasons on the track, Bold Chieftain won or placed in 36 of 47 starts and earned $1,683,181. His 18 career victories were highlighted by the San Francisco Mile (gr. IIT) and Sunshine Millions Classic, both in 2010.
