The New York Racing Association, Inc. has unveiled a redesigned website, www.NYRA.com, that the racing organization says is designed to be accessible for all visitors, regardless of their previous experience with racing.

"The new site combines design, technology, and deep racing knowledge to deliver an intuitive display of relevant information, including an extensive video library, for fans, handicappers and horsemen alike," NYRA president and chief operating officer Ellen McClain said in a statement.

According to a NYRA release, fans, handicappers, and horsemen can easily locate frequently accessed information including entries, results, replays, Talking Horses picks, scratches, track conditions, and more on the site.

The site also has increased photo and video content, including a "Video Corner" that displays NYRA TV programs and features and photo galleries that have been added to the site for the first time. Race replays dating back to 2007 at all three NYRA tracks are available for instant viewing, with the current day's replays highlighted at the top of the page.

NYRA said its social media feedsFacebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTubeare integrated at the bottom of the page, allowing fans to see real-time updates across all channels.

The new site also features biographical information for owners, trainers, and jockeys and by integrating the site with Equibase Company LLC it includes statistics, entries, results, charts, and workouts that are updated regularly throughout each racing day.

Additionally, the new NYRA.com is mobile-enabled. Visitors who access the site using a mobile device are presented with a straightforward interface optimized for on-the-go use.

The website was created by NYRA and Americaneagle.com, Inc. of Des Plaines, Ill.
