Kentucky Jockey Club (gr. II) winner Repent breezed a half-mile in :50 at Gulfstream Park on Saturday under regular rider Tony D'Amico.

"I was satisfied with his work," trainer Ken McPeek said. "I got him going out five furlongs in 1:00 and change. I'll probably run him sometime in February. I'm not sure just when or where."

McPeek said Repent's next turn would depend on how stablemate Harlan's Holiday fared in Saturday's Holy Bull Stakes (gr. III).

"I would like to keep Repent and Harlan's Holiday separate if I can," McPeek said. "One of them will run in the Fountain of Youth Stakes and Florida Derby here at Gulfstream. Heck, I could run them both if I wanted. I have a lot of options at this time."
