Gulfstream Park announced that Kenneth L. and Sarah K. Ramsey's Ramsey Farm will sponsor the Feb. 9 Kitten's Joy Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap (gr. IT).
The $300,000 race will be contested at 1 1/8 miles on turf and is expected to include 2011 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Animal Kingdom, three-time grade I winner Point of Entry, and grade I Hollywood Derby winner Unbridled Command.
The Ramseys are Gulfstream's leading owners with 24 victories from 83 starters. Kitten's Joy , 2004 champion male turf horse for the Ramseys, stands at Ramsey Farm near Nicholasville, Ky., for a 2013 fee of $50,000.
