'Equine Forum' to Address Ontario Situation

A member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament will address the end of the slots-at-racetracks program in Ontario during an 8:30 a.m. EST segment on the "Equine Forum" Jan. 26.

The show is broadcast at www.horseracingradio.net.

Ontario horse owner/breeder Roy Steele and Horse Racing Radio Network co-host Jude Feld will interview Taras Natyshak, a member of the New Democratic Party and supporter of rural Ontario communities that rely on horse breeding and racing. The provincial government pulled the plug on the slots-at-racetracks program, leaving the industry in disarray.

The HRRN program also is available on satellite radio (Sirius 93 or XM 2009) and HANK 96.1 FM radio in Lexington.
