Diara Angel, a half sister to 2011 Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf (gr. I) winner Wrote, heads a large catalog for the 2013 Tattersalls February Sale Feb. 7.
The catalog can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com. In total the catalog numbers 315 lots, making it the largest Tattersalls February sale since 2007. It comprises broodmares, horses in training, weanlings, and 2-year-olds.
Diara Angel, a 6-year-old Hawk Wing mare out of Desert Classic, by Green Desert, will be offered by Voute Sales. She is in foal to High Chaparral, who also is the sire of Wrote. Desert Classic was sold at the Tattersalls December mare sale for 875,000 guineas ($1.46 million).
Leading breeders Darley, Juddmonte Farms, and Shadwell Estates all have significant consignments with 23 fillies and mares coming from Darley and 15 more from Juddmonte.
