The board of directors of the Kentucky Equine Education Project has added five new members.

At a meeting held Jan. 15, directors voted to accept Ellis Park, Duncan Taylor of Taylor Made Farms, Scott Mallory of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers' Club, and trail riding advocate Roy Cornett as new board members. In addition, Chip Bach, the general of Turfway Park, will replace former Turfway president Bob Elliston on the KEEP Board.

"We are pleased that so many distinguished members of Kentucky's horse industry are excited to serve on the KEEP Board," said KEEP chairman Corey Johnsen in  a statement. "This new group of board members represents the diversity that makes KEEP such an effective organization in representing Kentucky's horse industry. I believe that it is extremely important to have a well-rounded board of directors that is dedicated to improving our industry. I am sure that these five new members will make a strong impact on our board."
