Two-time grade I winner Pure Clan delivered a healthy filly by Bernardini Jan. 10 at Robert N. Clay's Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky., and is scheduled to be bred to Tapit this year.
The 8-year-old daughter of Pure Prize , who won the Flower Bowl Invitational Stakes (gr. IT) and American Oaks Invitational Stakes (gr. IT), is currently owned in partnership by the Borges-Torrealba family and the Clay family and resides at Three Chimneys.
Goncalo Torrealba, who operates TNT Stud in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, purchased Pure Clan for $4.5 million from John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency during the second session of last year's Keeneland November breeding stock sale in Lexington.
