Monmouth Announces $6 Million Stakes Schedule

Led by the $1 million Haskell Invitational (gr. I) July 28, Monmouth Park has announced a total stakes schedule of $6 million, including 16 graded events worth $3.45 million, for the 2013 racing season in Oceanport, N.J.

Among notable changes to the calendar are the return of the $150,000 Salvator Mile (gr. III) for 3-year-olds July 6 and a shift of the $200,000 Monmouth Cup (gr. II), which will now be run Haskell Day.

The $200,000 Molly Pitcher (gr. II), which was contested on Haskell Day for the first time in 2012, will once again be renewed on that card, which now features five graded stakes events with the Taylor Made Matchmaker (gr. IIIT) and the $150,000 Oceanport (gr. IIIT) on the undercard as well.
