Laurel, Turfway, Penn National Cancel Races

Racing at Laurel Park.

Inclement weather has forced the cancellation of live racing Dec. 26 at Laurel Park, Turfway Park, and Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.

At Laurel, officials curtailed racing over a sloppy, sealed track after the first two races of the day. Laurel Park, located in Laurel, Md. and its sister track, Pimlico Race Course, will remain open for simulcasting.

Live racing is scheduled to resume at Laurel Dec. 27, with a 12:35 p.m. EST post time.
 
Turfway Park canceled prior to commencing its live racing. The Florence, Ky. facility ails remains open for simulcasting.
 
Live racing is expected to resume Dec. 27, with first post at 1:10 p.m.

At Penn National, officials called a halt prior to the start of racing with the forecast calling for rain, snow, and sleet.

Live racing is scheduled to resume at Penn National Dec. 27, with a 6 p.m. EST post time.

Simulcasting was scheduled to continue at the simulcast center at Penn National Race Course and off-track wagering facilities in Chambersburg, Lancaster, Reading, and York.
