TheHorse.com will present "Caring for the Senior Horse," a free webcast on Thursday, Dec. 13, at 8 p.m. (EST), sponsored by Merck Animal Health.
Nutrition, dental care, exercise, and age-related diseases can all become issues for horses as they age and on the podcast experts will offer suggestions on how to best manage and care for senior horses to ensure they lead long, comfortable, and productive lives. Attendees can submit questions to the experts during the live Q&A chat that accompanies the video.

--Dr. Cynthia G. MacKenzie, a senior equine technical services veterinarian for Merck Animal Health. In this role, she provides continuing education to equine practitioners and horse owners, composes technical literature, and conducts field trials.
