Taste of Paradise  , a grade I winner and Breeders' Cup runner-up, will stand in 2013 at Pope McLean's Crestwood Farm near Lexington. The 13-year-old stallion will stand for $2,500.

A leading performer from his crop, Taste of Paradise (Conquistador CieloTastetheteardrops, by What Luck) won the Vosburgh Stakes (gr. I) and was beaten a head in the TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) in his last two starts. He also won the San Diego Handicap (gr. II), the Vernon Underwood Stakes (gr. III), and the Ack Ack Handicap. He was retired with 13 top three finishes including nine in stakes and earnings of $1,019,455.

Taste of Paradise is enjoying his best year as a stallion. He is represented by stakes winner Joy's Paradise, who also was a stakes winner last year; graded stakes-placed Fast Track; and stakes-placed Star of Paradise.

Taste of Paradise, who entered stud at Crestwood, stood in 2012 at Fanlew Farms in Louisiana.
