TVG to Broadcast Tampa Bay Downs Meet

TVG has announced it will air the 91-day meet at Tampa Bay Downs that begins Dec. 1 and continues through May 5.
 
Tampa Bay's stakes schedule consists of 25 races with $2.6 million in purse money, highlighted by the March 9, $350,000 Tampa Bay Derby (gr. II). The race has been won by two of the past six winners of the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).

The March 9 program also includes the $150,000, grade III Hillsborough Stakes (gr. III) and the $100,000 Sun Coast Stakes. Other graded stakes during the meet are the grade III, $250,000 Sam F. Davis Stakes (Feb. 2), grade III, $150,000 Endeavour Stakes (Feb. 2), and the grade III, $150,000 Tampa Bay Stakes (Feb. 16).
