Less than three weeks after hooking up for a thrilling stretch duel in the Chilukki Stakes (gr. II) at Churchill Downs, Brushed by a Star and Joyful Victory will meet again Nov. 22 in the Falls City Handicap (gr. II) at the Louisville track.

On Nov. 3, Brushed by a Star prevailed by a head in the one-mile Chilukki. At 1 1/8 miles, the $150,000 Falls City is a two-turn race that has attracted seven fillies and mares. Brushed by a Star will be the highweight at 122 pounds and will carry three more pounds than Joyful Victory.

It has been a busy few weeks for Brushed by a Star. Saddled in the Chilukki by Grant Forster for owner Team Forster, Brushed by a Star was sold for $400,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky November Sale Nov. 5. In the Falls City, the 4-year-old Eddington   filly will start for new owner Unlimited Equine (Tom Berry) and trainer Eddie Kenneally.

"She came to us very good," Kenneally said. "She's sound and healthy. We'll try not to change anything. She just won a grade II. They did a fine job with her."

Bred by Des Ryan, Barry Donworth, and Ken Donworth, Brushed by a Star is out of the winning Broad Brush mare Brush Hour. She is from Eddington's second crop.

Grade II winner Joyful Victory had shipped to Santa Anita Park in her start before the Chilukki, where she finished second to Love and Pride in the Zenyatta Stakes (gr. I), the third time the 4-year-old Tapit   filly has placed in a grade I race. Trainer Larry Jones said Fox Hill Farms' Joyful Victory is ready for a rematch with Brushed by a Star.

"We'll have to see if (Brushed by a Star) improves first time in a new home because sometimes they do that, but maybe Grant had the key to her," Jones said. "We'll see, but our horse is good and we're ready."

Joyful Victory was bred in Ontario by William Graham. She is out of the Wild Again mare Wild Lucy Black. A three-time stakes winner, her biggest score came in last year's Fantasy Stakes (gr. II) at Oaklawn Park. She was a $400,000 sale 2-year-old at the Fasig-Tipton Florida sale in 2010.
