Shackleford  , the 2011 Preakness Stakes (gr. I) winner and a grade I winner this year, will begin his stallion career in 2013 for a $20,000 fee at John Phillips' Darby Dan Farm near Lexington. Four-year-old Shackleford has been nominated to the Clark Handicap Presented by Norton Healthcare (gr. I) at Churchill Downs Nov. 23 in what might be his final start.

Another newcomer, Dialed In  , will stand for $7,500.
