Teuflesberg  , sire of Xpressbet Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) winner Trinniberg  , will stand in 2013 at Joe McMahon's McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds near Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Eight-year-old Teuflesberg formerly stood at Journeyman Stud near Ocala, Fla.

He became the third active second-crop sire in North America (joining Scat Daddy   and Hard Spun  ) to sire a grade I-winning 3-year-old when Trinniberg won the Breeders' Cup Sprint Nov. 3. Trinniberg has won four graded stakes this year and has career earnings of $1,483,300.

Teuflesberg also is the sire of stakes winner Wizardy and stakes-placed runners Logan's Peak and Not An Altar Boy from his initial crop of 34 foals.

His second crop includes the filly Ostourah, a $450,000 auction 2-year-old who won at Belmont Park first-time out.

By international champion Johannesburg out of the Devil's Bag mare St. Michele, Teuflesberg won the Woody Stephens Stakes (gr. II) and four other stakes. He earned $621,981.

"Looking back it's no wonder he is a successful sire," said Joe McMahon. "At 2 he was beaten a hard fought neck by Scat Daddy   in the Sanford (gr. II) at Saratoga, then he beat Hard Spun   going a flat mile in the Southwest at Oaklawn. We were fortunate to purchase this very desirable young stallion before Trinniberg's big win in the Breeders' Cup Sprint."

Teuflesberg is scheduled to be re-syndicated for stud duty in New York.

A fee will be announced later.
