For the second straight day Nov. 8, live racing at Aqueduct Racetrack has been canceled as a result of a nor'easter that passed through New England and left behind several inches of wet snow.
Racing was also canceled Nov. 7 as the leading edge of the storm brought rain and strong winds to the New York area.
The Nov. 8 forecast calls for continued snow flurries, high winds, and a high temperature of 46 degrees. Major improvement is expected Nov. 9, when skies are predicted to be sunny with a high of 52.
