Lane's End announces 2013 stud fees

Lane's End Farm, in Versailles, Kentucky, released their 2013 stud fees on Monday. All contracts carry a live foal guarantee and are payable when the foal stands and nurses.

Among the new stallions this year are Belmont Stakes winner Union Rags, who will have a fee of $35,000, and multiple Grade 1 winner The Factor, who will stand for $15,000.

The other stud fees are: After Market, $5,000; Belong to Me, $5,000; Candy Ride, $40,000; City Zip, $25,000; Courageous Cat, $10,000; Curlin, $25,000; Discreetly Mine, $15,000; English Channel, $25,000; Langfuhr, $10,000; Lemon Drop Kid, $35,000; Mineshaft, $30,000; Pleasantly Perfect, $10,000; Quality Road, $25,000; Rock Hard Ten, $20,000; Shakespeare, $5,000; Smart Strike, $85,000; Stephen Got Even, $7,500; Twirling Candy, $12,500.
