Deal, Lowe and Silver's well-traveled Rhythm of Light was last seen landing the September 1 International Istanbul Trophy at Veliefendi Racecourse. Patiently handled by Garrett Gomez, the four-year-old daughter of Beat Hollow loped along near the rear of the field early in her U.S. debut.

Up front, Let's Go Cheyenne sped through fractions of :23 and :47 1/5 on the firm turf. A Jealous Woman prompted until nearing the final turn, when she ratcheted up the pressure and drew alongside Let's Go Cheyenne through six furlongs in 1:10 2/5. A Jealous Woman put away the pacesetter entering the stretch and began to open up.

Dascombe lowered her sights for a July 21 Haydock conditions race, where she posted a confidence-boosting win. Rhythm of Light was fourth next time out over the course in the Dick Hern Fillies' Stakes, her final outing before jetting off for a return trip to Turkey. In her second attempt at the Istanbul Trophy, she drove to a half-length decision.

Bred by Hermes Services Ltd. in Great Britain, Rhythm of Light is out of the winning Danehill mare Luminda, who is also responsible for the French stakes-placed Lazy Afternoon. Luminda is a half-sister to Grade 2 victress Little Treasure. Further back, this is the family of French highweight miler and sire Bigstone.
