After just missing out on a grade I victory in her previous start, My Happy Face will try to put smiles on her connections' faces Nov. 4 in the $150,000 Tempted Stakes (gr. II) at Aqueduct Racetrack.
On Oct. 6 at Belmont Park, My Happy Face finished second in the Frizette Stakes (gr. I), finishing a head behind Dreaming of Julia after dueling with that rival throughout the one-mile race.
While Dreaming of Julia races in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) Nov. 2, Michael Dubb's My Happy Face, a daughter of Tiz Wonderful , will try to take care of business against an expected five other 2-year-old fillies in the Tempted, a one-turn mile race.
While no other starter has a stakes placing, Unabashed enters off a fourth-place finish in the Matron Stakes (gr. II) and several other maiden winners look promising, including Juddmonte Farms' homebred Emollient, a daugther of Empire Maker.
