Three-time grade I winner Get Stormy   will enter stud at Pope McLean's Crestwood Farm near Lexington. His 2013 fee is $5,000 stands and nurses.

Campaigned as a homebred by Mary A. Sullivan's Sullamar Stable, Get Stormy was a winner at 2 and a graded stakes winner the next four years. At his best from a mile to 1 1/8 miles, he won nine stakes, including seven graded events, and placed in six stakes, all graded. At one time, he won seven of eight races including five in a row. All three of his grade I scores came on the front end.

"He was the best horse I ever trained and also the most intelligent." said trainer Tom Bush "He is a throwback to the type of horses we used to have and need to breed back to. He is a fast and sturdy horse that was always consistent. I have had a number of respected people in the industry mention how good looking this horse is, and I would have to agree."

Get Stormy won the Woodford Reserve Turf Classic Stakes (gr. IT), the Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap (gr. IT), and the Maker's Mark Mile Stakes (gr. IT). Three of his stakes wins came at Saratoga Race Course including the Bernard Baruch Handicap (gr. IIT) and  the Fourstardave Handicap (gr. IIT).  He ran second, beaten a half length by multiple champion Gio Ponti  , in the 2011 Shadwell Turf Mile Stakes (gr. IT) at Keeneland.

By Stormy Atlantic  , Get Stormy is out of the Kiri's Clown mare Foolish Gal.

"Something to note is that Get Stormy is linebred to the female family of Rough Shod II, which has produced leading sires Nureyev, Sadler's Wells, etc.," said Robert Keck of Crestwood Farm.

Get Stormy will participate in the "Share the Upside" program at Crestwood.
