Madraar to Stand at Hideaway Farm

Madraar, a half-brother to European champion and 2001 Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. IT) winner Fantastic Light, has been retired and will stand at Gary and Marlene Howard's Hideaway Farm near San Jacinto, Calif.

Madraar (Mr. Prospector -- Jood, by Nijinksy II) will stand for $3,500 ($3,000 is payable by Sept. 1).

The 8-year-old horse won seven of 18 starts in Dubai from three to seven. He made three starts in California stakes to end his career, finishing off the board in all three. He retires with earnings of $84,428.
