Japanese-bred Trailblazer continued his preparations toward the Breeders' Cup with a five-furlong breeze Oct. 23 at Betfair Hollywood Park.
Working handily, Trailblazer completed the distance in 1:02 on the Cushion Track. Trailblazer, who has been pointing to the Nov. 3 Breeders' Cup Turf (gr. I) at Santa Anita Park, finished second in the Arroyo Seco Mile Stakes (gr. II) at Santa Anita Oct. 6. That effort marked the United States debut for Koji Maeda's 5-year-old Zenno Rob Roy horse, a two-time stakes winner in Japan.
