Federal Trial, a graded stakes winner on turf, has been retired and will stand in 2002 at Justaplain Farm near Cochranville, Penn. He will stand as the property of Bridlewood Farm for $2,000 ($1,500 for Pennsylvania-breds).

Seven-year-old Federal Trial (Skip Trial -- Royal Angelique, by Diplomat Way) won two turf stakes in Florida as a 4-year-old. He won the Hialeah Turf Cup Handicap (gr. IIT) at Hialeah and the Canadian Turf Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Gulfstream Park.

A homebred for Bridlewood owner Arthur I. Appleton, Federal Trial won half of his 14 lifetime starts and earned $445,790.
