Stately Victor  , a grade I winner in Kentucky, and Bring the Heat, a 14-year-old stallion, will stand in 2013 at Doug Arnold's Buck Pond Farm near Versailles, Ky. Stately Victor, by Ghostzapper  , will enter stud for $5,000, and Bring the Heat's fee is $2,500.

Five-year-old Stately Victor scored the biggest win of his career in the 2010 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I) by 4 1/4 lengths over Paddy O'Prado  , with First Dude   finishing third. Following the Blue Grass, Stately Victor contested the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), finishing eighth. That fall, Stately Victor won the Ontario Derby at Woodbine.

Stately Victor, who was trained by Mike Maker for Jack and F. Thomas Conway, placed in seven stakes including the 2011 TVG Pacific Classic Stakes (gr. I) and the 2011-12 Dominion Day Stakes (Can-III). He was retired with a record of 3-4-6 from 26 starts and earnings of $950,704.

Bred in Kentucky by Adena Springs, Stately Victor is out of grade I winner Collect the Cash (by Dynaformer) and is a half brother to two stakes-placed runners.

Bring the Heat (In Excess--One Hot Mama, by Incinderator) has sired nine stakes horses and the earners of more than $3 million. His five stakes winners include Canadian champion Madman Diaries. His stakes-placed runners include 2012 Saratoga grade II stakes-placed Handsome Jack.

Bring the Heat, who was stakes-placed, formerly stood at Ward Ranch near Ocala, Fla.
