Fasig-Tipton Named Partner in Breeders' Cup

Fasig-Tipton has been named a presenting partner of the 2012 Breeders' Cup World Championships.

As a part of the agreement, Fasig-Tipton will sponsor the Breakfast Marquee at Santa Anita Park, site of the Breeders' Cup, Nov. 2-3, where horsemen and racing VIPs will gather each morning in the days preceding the event to enjoy a private breakfast and view the workouts of the horses.

As an added benefit, Breeders' Cup and Fasig-Tipton have secured an "Auction Air" B737 special charter flight for owners and breeders. It departs for Lexington immediately after the Breeders' Cup concludes on Saturday evening, Nov. 3, to be flown to Lexington for the Fasig-Tipton November sale, which begins on Monday, Nov. 5.

"We are excited with our new agreement with Fasig-Tipton for this year's championships, which combines a first-class level of hospitality for our participants and an outstanding offer to facilitate our owners and breeders who want to get to the November sale following Breeders' Cup Saturday," said Craig Fravel, Breeders' Cup president and CEO.

"We are pleased to join with the Breeders' Cup to provide customers a great opportunity to attend the 2012 Breeders' Cup in person at Santa Anita and to quickly and easily fly to Kentucky for the star studded 2012 November sale at Fasig-Tipton," said Boyd Browning, president of Fasig-Tipton. "In addition, the Breakfast Marquee has proven to be an excellent addition to the Breeders' Cup experience and Fasig-Tipton is proud to be a partner."
