Two T's At Two B won the first three races of his career.
Two T's At Two B and D'nied Permission, winners of the first two events in this year's Florida Stallion Stakes at Calder Casino & Race Course, will return for the In Reality Division, the rich finale of the series Oct. 13.
On a stakes-filled afternoon for the 21st annual "Festival of the Sun" at Calder, the In Reality for colts and geldings and the My Dear Girl Division for fillies, both worth $300,000, are the richest races on the program.
A field of 10 is scheduled to contest the 1 1/16-mile In Reality, the 12th race on the card with a 5:47 p.m. EDT scheduled post.
Conditioned by Kathleen O’Connell, Two T’s At Two B, owned by Gilbert Campbell, won the first three races of his career by a combined 16 1/4 lengths, adding a 5 1/4-length victory in the $100,000 Frank Gomez Memorial Stakes to his 3 3/4-length Stallion Stakes triumph in the $75,000 Dr. Fager Division.
In his most recent start, the son of Untuttable was beaten two lengths when third as the 2-5 favorite in the $125,000 Affirmed Division where he fell victim to the late run of D’nied Permission.
A son of D'Wildcat , Calascibetta Racing Stable and partners' D’nied Permission has made five appearances during his young career, visiting the winner’s circle twice while finishing second on two other occasions. Following his Affirmed triumph, the Joe Calascibetta trainee returned for the $100,000 Foolish Pleasure Stakes where he could do no better than fourth.
Two T’s At Two B will start from post 6 in the In Reality with Eduardo Nunez to ride. D’nied Permission has been assigned post 9 and will be piloted by Luis Saez.
Rose Family Stable’s Joshua's Comprise, a three-time stakes-placed colt, was beaten a neck when second to D’nied Permission in the Affirmed. He was also runner-up to Two T’s At Two B in the Frank Gomez Memorial. He returns for the In Reality off a maiden-breaking win against entry-level allowance rivals.
Joshua’s Comprise drew post 7 and will be ridden by Carlos Olivero.
Trainer Eddie Plesa Jr. will saddle two horses in the In Reality. BR Congress’ Dr. Fager runner-up Dixie High will start from post 10 with Paco Lopez named to ride, and Ralph Nabavi’s recent 5 3/4-length maiden winner Speak Logistics at Monmouth Park leaves from post 2 with Angel Serpa aboard.
Also entered for the In Reality are recent maiden winners Beach Master, Tiger Distinction, Uptown Anthem, and Hear Me Comin. Maiden C D Gold sheds blinkers for trainer Milton Wolfson.
