War Front , who ranks fifth on this year's third-crop sires' list by progeny earnings, will stand in 2013 for $80,000, a jump of $20,000 from his $60,000 fee in 2012. War Front stands at the Hancock family's Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky.
War Front (Danzig—Starry Dreamer, by Rubiano) is represented by 10 stakes winners this year including grade I winner Data Link and grade II winner The Factor .
"Claiborne is committed to setting realistic stud fees and to capping the number of mares bred," said stallion director Bernie Sams.
