Brahms  , a grade I winner by Danzig out of Mr. Prospector's champion daughter Queena, has been relocated to Richard Hessee's Trophy Club Training Center near Royal, Ark., for the 2013 breeding season.

A $1 million Keeneland July sale yearling, Brahms won three stakes including the Early Times Hollywood Derby (gr. IT) and the River City Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Churchill Downs.

Fifteen-year-old Brahms is represented by the earners of nearly $1.1 million this year. Lifetime, he has sired 44 stakes horses and the earners of more than $20.6 million. His 18 stakes winners include millionaire and three-time grade II winner Arson Squad, plus Bad Action, winner of the Pegasus Stakes (gr. III).

"I could not be happier with standing this caliber of stallion here in Arkansas," Hessee said. "He has an outstanding pedigree that most of our breeders were never able to access until now. He is a proven son of Danzig out of a champion Mr. Prospector mare that produces hard-knocking runners, I don't know what more that you could ask for in a regional market."

Brahms, who began his stallion career at Vinery in Kentucky, stood the last several seasons at Elite Thoroughbreds near Folsom, La. His 2013 fee has not been decided.

The deal to stand Brahms at Trophy Club was brokered by Patrick Morell.
