Harlington , a grade II winner at Gulfstream Park, came through with his first winner when his 2-year-old daughter Its the Rush won at Woodbine Aug. 25.
Making her second start, the filly won a maiden special weight race at six furlongs by 2 1/4 lengths in 1:12.04 for C. DeMizio and Mary E. Biamonte.
Bred in Ontario by Hill ‘n’ Dale Equine Holdings Inc., Its the Rush is the second foal and first starter out of the winning Storm Boot mare Jungle Storm, a full sister to graded winner Primal Storm.
Harlington won six of 10 races including the 2006 Gulfstream Park Handicap (gr. II). By Unbridled, he is out of champion Serena's Song (by Rahy).
Harlington stands at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms near Lexington. His fee in 2012 was $7,500.
