Leon Cline, a veteran Oaklawn Park trainer, died Aug. 25 at age 70. He had been in poor health.
Cline’s runners made 2,376 starts. They won 273 races, ran second 301 times and third 262 times, and earned $2,330,153.
Cline had 12 horses at the time of his death, according to his wife, Donna. She plans to continue the stable.
Funeral services will be held Aug. 29 at 2 p.m. CDT at Davis-Smith Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Ark.
