Good and Tough to Lakland North

Good and Tough will stand the 2002 breeding season at Lakland North near Hudson, N.Y. He will stand for $6,000.
Good and Tough (Carson City--Amy Be Good, by Northern Raja) entered stud in 2000 and stood his first two seasons at Vinery near Lexington. According to The Jockey Club's Report of Mares bred (statistics through Oct. 12), the 6-year-old stallion covered 65 mares his first season (2000), and has 44 registered named foals. He covered 66 mares this season.
Good and Tough won nine of 23 races and earned $809,341. He won five stakes, including the grade II Commonwealth Breeders' Cup Stakes at Keeneland.
