Arlington Million winner Silvano was installed the 9-2 third choice when he drew the outside post position 14 for Sunday's Hong Kong Cup that highlights and international card of four graded races at Sha Tin Racecourse. Jim and Tonic will break from post five as the 3-1 favorite in the 1 1/4-mile race.
In the Hong Kong Vase, Neil Drysdale-trained White Heart drew post two and will be ridden by Gary Stevens. Japan's Stay Gold will break from the outside post 14 as the 9-4 choice.
Top U.S. turf star Forbidden Apple will be ridden by Corey Nakatani for trainer Christophe Clement as the 10-3 second favorite in the Hong Kong Mile.
Two U.S. horses have been entered in the Hong Kong Sprint, the only grade II race among the four, with the other three each being grade I. Morluc, who will be ridden by Robby Albarado for trainer Randy Morse, is the 9-2 favorite in the five-furlong test, with Darrel Vienna-trained Nuclear Debate to be ridden by Gary Stevens at probable odds of 7-1.
