Millionaire Ten Keys has been relocated from Plane Tree Farm in Maryland to the Trinity Ranch owned by Bill Du Perron in Alberta, Canada. The 17-year-old, multiple graded stakes winning son of Sir Ivor Again set a new course record in winning the New Hampshire Sweepstakes Handicap (gr. III). His other major victories included the Bay Meadows Handicap (gr. II), Elkhorn (gr. II), Laurel Turf Cup (gr. III), Cliff Hanger Handicap (gr. III), and the Early Times Turf Classic (gr. III). Ten Keys will stand the 2002 breeding season at Calmar Stables and Ranch in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. ...Aqueduct will offer free general parking and free grandstand admission to patrons Jan. 3 through March 10. Clubhouse admission remains $3. NYRA calendars will be given away Tuesday, Jan. 1...Churchill Downs announced Tuesday that its Trackside simulcast facility in Louisville, Ky. surpassed $1-billion mark in total wagers on Nov. 30, nine years and one day after the parlor opened as Sports Spectrum. Renamed Trackside Louisville as part of a corporate branding of all Churchill track-owned off-track betting facilities when the current OTB session began Nov. 25 of this year, the facility had its largest daily total handle of $1,592,374 on Kentucky Derby Day 2000. Churchill reported more than 4-million patrons have visited Trackside Louisville, with top attendance of 7,251 on Derby Day, May 5, of this year...Pam Blatz-Murff, senior vice president of Breeders' Cup operations for the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, was honored with the Derby Award for Services to International Racing at a luncheon Dec. 10 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, England. The awards are named after the Lord of Derby. Past recipients of the Derby Award for Services to International Racing include Jean Romanet and Louis Romanet, Paul Mellon, Lord Derby, John Gaines, Guy Watkins, Michael Osborne and Ted Bassett. Blatz-Murff is the first woman to be so honored.
