Saratoga and sponsors offer exciting contests, VIP packages to fans

Racing fans will have multiple opportunities to experience Saratoga Race Course in style this summer through a number of exciting contests and VIP packages encompassing all 40 days of racing at the Spa. A number of new and returning fan-friendly promotions will be offered throughout the 2012 meet in partnership with several national, regional and local retailers, including Keeler Motor Car Company, Northeastern Fine Jewelry, Dunkin' Donuts and Coca-Cola.

Northeastern Fine Jewelry and Keeler Motor Car Company will offer racing fans the chance to experience the Grade 1 Travers Stakes with the all-new 2012 Travers Stakes Crown Jewel Experience.

The luxury prize package includes Clubhouse box seating and luncheon for two on Travers Day, August 25; two-night accommodations at The Saratoga Hilton August 24-25; a prepaid two-year lease of a Mercedes-Benz C250 coupe from Keeler Motor Car Company; an 18 karat pendant from the Simon G Embrace collection with a retail value of $2,200 from Northeastern Fine Jewelry; and a $100 gift card to Saratoga Springs restaurant Maestro's at the Van Dam.

Fans can enter to win by liking the Keeler Motor Car Company Facebook page or the NEFJ Facebook page. Participants can then register for the contest on either of the Facebook pages through August 20. The winner will be notified in the days leading up to the $1 million Travers. No purchase is necessary; must be 18 years or older to enter.

Keeler Motor Car and Northeastern Fine Jewelry will be on track at Saratoga Friday through Sunday. Keeler Motor Car will be located outside the Clubhouse gates and will feature the following cars on display: 2013 SLS AMG valued at approximately $240,000 as well as a 2013 CLS 550 and a 2013 C250 Coupe.  Northeastern Fine Jewelry will supplement Keeler Motor Car's presence with an array of pendants, rings and bracelets from the collection of Simon G, Marco Bicego and Roberto Coin. Each of the items that will be on display retails for approximately $100,000.

Northeastern Fine Jewelry will provide an additional opportunity for fans to have a unique on-track experience with a special contest to win an exclusive VIP Clubhouse box package, including private use of a Clubhouse box at Saratoga, Post Parade programs and parking passes.

Prize packages are available for select dates throughout the meet. Individuals can enter to win by completing the entry form available at Northeastern Fine Jewelry's two Capital Region locations: 1575 Western Avenue in Albany and 1607 Union Street in Schenectady; or at Keeler Motor Car Company, 1111 Troy-Schenectady Road in Latham. Dunkin' Donuts will once again provide guests with the opportunity to win one of 40 VIP Clubhouse packages for a day at Saratoga with the return of the "40 Days at Saratoga" sweepstakes. One prize will be awarded for each day of racing during the 2012 meet, which runs through September 3. The VIP package includes four Clubhouse reserved seats at Saratoga, Clubhouse admission passes, Post Parade program books and parking.

Guests can enter to win by completing the "40 Days at Saratoga" entry form available at any participating Dunkin' Donuts location in the greater Capital Region. No purchase is necessary; must be 18 years or older to enter. Winners will be notified the week prior to event date.

Dunkin' Donuts guests will receive an extra perk every Monday -- fans who present a Dunkin' Donuts Card at the track admission gates on Mondays will receive $2 off the price of grandstand admission.

New for the 2012 meet, fans are invited to take advantage of a special offer from Coca-Cola each Friday of the meet. The Coca-Cola Best Bet includes adult grandstand admission, a Post Parade program, a hot dog and Coca-Cola, all for $5 with a voucher found on Coca-Cola displays at participating retailers.

The voucher can be redeemed at the Reserved Seats Office on Union Avenue on any Friday during the season. Admission is free for children under 12 when accompanied by an adult.

The Coca-Cola Best Bet corresponds with Saratoga's all-new Family Fun Fridays. The family-oriented festivals will be held each Friday in the backyard playground area from noon to 4 p.m. (EDT). The event features a variety of free family-friendly activities, including a bounce inflatable and the Tiny Tots Tea Room arts and crafts table.
