AmWest Entertainment has launched a player-driven wagering website called AmWager.com, the company announced Aug. 1.

Some of features of the service include conditional wagering, real-time "dutching," stacked bets, and free live video and replays from more than 200 racetracks worldwide.

"With the dedicated assistance of some of North America's most successful high-volume players, we have created the equivalent of a Formula 1 betting machine that we can now deliver to retail players who have been used to driving economy wagering vehicles," AmWest Entertainment chief executive officer Nelson Clemmens said. "We are confident they will find this the most enjoyable and rewarding wagering ride they have ever experienced."

Professional handicappers worked with technical developers for about 18 months of daily trials, officials said.

AmWager.com offers Thoroughbred, Standardbred, Quarter Horse, and Greyhound racing, and offers a telephone betting service. Cash rewards are offered for each wager placed, and users will be eligible for bonuses based on the wagering of individuals they refer to AmWager.com.

Clemmens, a Thoroughbred owner and breeder, said the company "will ensure that AmWager.com returns the highest possible revenue to support the sport of racing."
