Giant's Causeway's Full Brother Freud to Stud at Lakland

English group II stakes-placed Freud, a full brother to European champion Giant's Causeway, will enter stud for a fee of $5,000 live foal at Becky Thomas and Lewis and Brenda Lakin's Lakland North near Hudson, N.Y. First in one of 12 races, Freud ran third in the Cork and Orrery Stakes (Eng-II) at Royal Ascot and was retired with $44,016 in earnings.

A 3-year-old son of Storm Cat, Freud was produced from grade II winner Mariah's Storm, whose graded stakes-winning dam, Immense, is a half-sister to champion filly Dearly Precious.
