Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 170 yearlings for its Texas summer yearling sale at Lone Star Park. The number is down 54.3% from last year’s total of 372.
The auction, which will have a new evening format, is scheduled for Aug. 27. It will start at approximately 5:00 p.m. (CDT) following a short reception in the sale pavilion.
"It's an exciting and varied catalog, with yearlings from Texas and a number of neighboring states with strong racing programs," said Tim Boyce, Fasig-Tipton’s Texas director of sales. "Several of our sires are young, national leaders from Kentucky−Bluegrass Cat , Corinthian , English Channel , Hard Spun , Harlan's Holiday , and Scat Daddy among them."
