Raging Fever, one of several fast juvenile fillies owned by Edward Evans, heads a field of six 2-year-old fillies entered in the 6 1/2-furlong Adirondack Stakes (gr. II) Monday at Saratoga. Raging Fever is trained by Mark Hennig and enters the Adirondack out of an 11 1/4-length romp in the $103,000 Astoria at Belmont Park in July. Jerry Bailey replaces the injured John Velazquez aboard Raging Fever for the Adirondack.

Padua Stable and Anne Sanan's Tricky Elaine will race on Lasix for the first time in the Adirondack. She became the first winner by Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Grindstone at Churchill Downs in June before finishing a troubled but fast-closing third to Evans' Gold Mover in the Debutante at Churchill in July. Tricky Elaine is out of Evil Elaine, dam of 1997 Horse of the Year and champion juvenile Favorite Trick.

The field for the Adirondack -- with jockeys, weights, and morning-line odds, will consist of:

1--Tricky Elaine, Pat Day, 114, 7-2
2--Grandma Lu, M Ebina, 114, 6-1
3--Raging Fever, Jerry Bailey, 122, 4-5
4--Two Item Limit, Edgar Prado, 117, 12-1
5--Marq of Beauty, Shane Sellers, 114, 10-1
6--Secret Lover, Richard Migliore, 117, 9-2
