The first winner by New Mexico stallion Exciting Metro scored at Ruidoso Downs in New Mexico July 15. Fury Ease, a 2-year-old filly, won by three-quarters of a length in 1:01.24  at five furlongs.

A New Mexico homebred for Earl and Marlene Riley, Fury Ease is the third winner out of the Just a Time mare Chimes of Time.

Exciting Metro, who was stakes-placed in New York, is by Carson City out of the Jolie's Halo mare Excitations. He stands at Graham Farms near Roswell, N.M.
