Marcavelly, a two-time graded stakes winner, sired his first winner when his son The B's and E's won a maiden special weight race on turf at Belmont Park July 15 for breeder/owner Mark Dodson. The 2-year-old gelding set the pace in the seven-furlong race to win by 3 1/2 lengths in 1:22.62.

Bred in Ontario, Canada, The B’s and E’s  is out of the Spectacularphantom mare I'm the Business, a stakes winner in California and stakes-placed in her native New Zealand.

Marcavelly (JohannesburgDark Jewel, by Majestic Light) won three stakes, all on grass, including the Central Bank Transylvania Stakes (gr. IIIT) and the Hill Prince Stakes (gr. IIIT). He stands at John Burness’ Colebrook Farms Stallion Station near Uxbridge, Ontario. His 2012 fee was $4,000 (Canadian funds).
