The Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. has cataloged 751 horses for its August yearling sale. The number is down 2.7% from last year’s total of 772.
The auction will be held Aug. 21-23 in Central Florida. There are 188 yearlings cataloged for the sale’s Aug. 21 select session, which will start at 1 p.m. EDT. The two select sessions will be held Aug. 22 and 23, and 563 horses are scheduled to be offered. Selling will begin at 10:30 a.m. each day.
Stallions with horses in the auction include Flower Alley , Giant's Causeway , Empire Maker, War Front, Curlin , Colonel John , Old Fashioned , Wildcat Heir , and Pomeroy .
