Trainer Bob Baffert easily won his second spring/summer training title in a row at Betfair Hollywood Park while jockey Rafael Bejarano was the dominant rider at the 50-day stand that ended July 15.
The Hall of Fame trainer finishing with 35 wins, eight more than John Sadler. Baffert also had a season-high 11 stakes victories. He has captured five training titles at Hollywood Park.
Bejarano wound up the meet up with 74 wins, 25 more than runner-up Joe Talamo. Bejarano also led with 13 stakes victories. The title was the first at Hollywood's spring/summer meet for the 30-year-old Peruvian native since 2008.
Game On Dude, who won the Californian (gr. II) and Hollywood Gold Cup (gr. I), was a unanimous selection as horse of the meet in the annual media poll.
