Grade I Winner Divine Park Sires First Winner

Divine Park  , winner of the 2008 Metropolitan Handicap (gr. I), came through with his first winner when his 2-year-old daughter Cmonbabylitemyfire won a maiden special weight race at Assiniboia Downs July 14.

The filly captured the five-furlong race by a neck in 1:01 for owner Off 2 Win and Ardell Sayler.

Bred in Kentucky by Morris Floyd, Cmonbabylitemyfire is the second winner from two foals of racing age from the Dixie Union mare Lady Fairway, whose stakes-placed half sister Taianna is the dam of grade II winner Hook and Ladder.

Divine Park (Chester House—High in the Park, by Ascot Knight) stands at Brereton C. Jones’ Airdrie Stud near Midway, Ky. His 2012 fee was $10,000.
