New York Horse Industry Survey Under Way

The New York Thoroughbred Breeders is urging horse industry stakeholders to take part in a survey it says will help "display the importance of the equine industry to New York's economy."

The NYTB is a founding member of the New York Horse Racing and Agriculture Alliance, whose mission is to protect the interests of racing and agriculture as the state considers approval of full-scale, non-tribal casinos. The state's racetracks have video lottery terminals but have expressed interest in expanding their offerings.
